I found this 1955 R-120 in Arizona in 97. Hauled it to Florida where it sit for the next few years. In 2007 started tearing it down to the frame for restoration. Not really knowing what direction I wanted to go, decided to customize it, but try and keep the original look. Well, needless to say three years later it's back on the road. Some of the things done was replace the drivetrain to a mopar set up, rebuilt 318, bored .030, mild cam, edelbrock intake, holley 600, chrome shorty headers, mounted to a 904 auto trans with 3.23 gearing in the rear. Dual exhaust with thrush mufflers. The only thing I farmed out was the upholstery, which was done in tweed on the seat (original one), headliner, door panels and kick panels. A lot of things were fabricated for the truck, but the body is all original, except the tailgate. The list is too long to mention. Thanks to Scott Branom, a friend who helped me along the way. Life is awesome, it is all what we do with it while we have it............Enjoy!
